McDonalds Breakfast Hours.

If you want the FULL breakfast menu, you still need to visit at breakfast times. 90% of McDonalds Restaurants are open for breakfast at these times:

Mon-Fri: 5:00 am 10:30 am

Saturday: 5:00 am 11:00 am

Sunday: 5:00 am 11:00 am

However, some McDonalds outlets do not open for breakfast until 5.30 AM, and others open as early as 3.00 AM or 4.00 AM, especially very busy restaurants in large city centers and in airports. A McDonalds franchise owner can actually decide on his restaurants own breakfast times/hours, so some do serve a little longer than the official breakfast closing times.

McDonalds New All-Day Breakfast!

McDonalds launched their new all-day breakfast menu on October 6th, 2015. However, please note that:

Only part of the Breakfast Menu is available all day.

All-day breakfast options vary by location, but the majority of restaurants will have the most popular items like hot cakes, oatmeal, sausage burritos, fruit and yogurt parfait and hash browns.

No Egg McMuffins in the South.

McDonalds have decided that Southerners prefer biscuits over McMuffins. The Southeasts Biscuit Belt stretches from Louisiana east through to Georgia. You can get McMuffins in Florida, though.

Hash browns are not available everywhere.

The kitchens use the same fryers to cook both hash browns and french fries, so around 10% of McDonalds locations have chosen not to serve hash browns past the regular breakfast cutoff.

The All-Day Breakfast pushes out some regular menu items.

For example, about half of McDonalds restaurants has axed large McWraps because of the All-Day Breakfast.

What Time Does McDonalds Serve Lunch?

The change-over from breakfast to lunch is at 10.30 AM on weekdays and at 11.00 AM on Weekends. In practice, this means that you can order your Big Macs from 10.35 AM on a weekday.
