Adam Wong was a contestant on Season 8 of MasterChef. He ranked in 10th place. PersonalityAdam was shown to have a high opinion of himself, believing that his Harvard education specifically would give him an edge on his competitors. Despite this, this was proven to be false as his ego did not match his cooking skills, finishing every individual challenge either in the middle or the bottom, was also weak in the leadership area, and sometimes felt intimidated by the stronger cooks. During his final performance in the kitchen, he did begin to show a genuinely passionate and endearing side when he cooked against Caitlin, but while it was stated by the judges to be his best performance in the kitchen, he unfortunately served raw chicken and was sent home. He was disliked by Eboni for his attitude and favoritism to Brien, although the two later reconciled upon his elimination.
